I’m an AI Solutions Engineer so my stack varies depending on the project I’m working on…so I work with a multitude of technologies across models, frameworks, data stores, etc.
I work on multiple projects at a time. Python is the main language I work with though.
Your first step is to become acquainted with how tech is used in finance + figure out which tech role you’d like to apply finance to. Every role in tech is available in the finance sector. Ex: Financial Data Analyst, Fraud Detection Engineer, etc
Brainstorm timelines, transferable skills, interests, etc to see which role makes sense to you. ChatGPT can help with this since you can upload your resume. If you need more in depth help, I offer career consultations.

- anomaly detection for audits
- forecasting for financial reports
- tax research for compliance
Figure out how to use it to speed up your workflows. Learn the basics of AI via AI for everyone course by Andrew Ng. Start a small AI initiative for your team where you pilot an AI solution to help make money, save money, or save time on an accounting task.
