🚨High School Football Recruits🚨 Any time a college coach reaches out to you—whether from an FBS program, FCS, Division II, Division III, NAIA, or JUCO—treat that interaction with respect and genuine appreciation. That coach took time out of their day to evaluate you, connect with you, and learn more about who you are on and off the field. That matters. The college football landscape changes quickly. Coaches move programs. Staffs turn over. Opportunities shift. The same coach recruiting at a smaller school today could be at a Power 5 school, a major FCS program, or a top Division II contender tomorrow. And with the transfer portal as active as it is, relationships matter now more than ever. Be thoughtful. Be respectful. Be consistent. How you treat people in this process follows you. Build strong relationships. Keep communication respectful and professional. Show gratitude. Because you never know which conversation today becomes an opportunity tomorrow.

🚨High School Football Recruits: It is not “D1 or bust.” One of the biggest misconceptions in the recruiting world is that success is only measured by earning a Division 1 offer. The truth is: there are hundreds of college football programs at multiple levels where you can develop, compete, earn a degree, and continue your football journey. Here’s the reality of college football opportunities across the country: FBS (Division I): ~136 Programs The highest profile level with larger stadiums, budgets, and national exposure. FCS (Division I): ~125 Programs High-quality football with scholarship opportunities Division II: ~160 Programs Competitive football with partial scholarships and strong academic environments. Division III: ~243 Programs No athletic scholarships, but significant academic and financial aid support. Player development and culture are strong. NAIA: ~95 Programs Competitive programs with scholarship opportunities and excellent student-athlete support. Junior College (JUCO): ~65 Programs A powerful pathway for development, academic improvement, and re-recruitment to higher levels. 800+ college football programs across the country. You don’t need 30 offers — you only need one school that believes in you and fits your goals. Focus on: • Development • Being coachable • Academics • Character • Consistency on film Your path is your path. There are multiple ways to reach success in this game — including the NFL and CFL — from every single level listed above. Choose growth. Choose opportunity. Choose the place that values you. Not the place that just looks good on a graphic.
