The 111,000 people mentioned is only the number of new asylum claims in the UK in 2025. The total asylum system caseload was last reported as 224,742 cases at the end of June 2024. Unfortunately, the government is not very transparent as to the actual number of asylum seekers in the UK, past or present. They will never tell you how many asylum claims have been approved. The government will instead talk about 'faster processing' is reducing the backlog. What this really means is that they are approving claims faster without proper checks/vetting being done. These asylum seekers hardly ever get deported, when in fact they should be. 🤔 This is prolific and all down to corrupt Left-Wing judges and immigration lawyers/solicitors. Wake up UK!
