Replying to @USAandEurope
.@UnderSecT: Russia’s actions threaten not only the viability of New START, but also the future of U.S.-Russian nuclear arms control. It is [important] now more than ever, that we continue to act responsibly in the area of strategic arms limitation. (2/2) state.gov/special-online-bri…

Very concerned by amendments to SAMLA included in the Economic Crime (transparency and enforcement) Bill which had third reading today. Government is taking powers that will allow for draconian designations, all being done in the name of helping Ukraine when it will likely not
What’s up with Chicago and Detroit sports teams at the moment - after decades dominating both cities hockey and football teams seem to be struggling…… #C5MNF @mattmoneysmith

Depressing to hear @Jeremy_Hunt proposing to give ambassadorships to business leaders. No major nation except US does this - & there are plenty of horror stories fm US to show why. Diplomacy is a profession, with its own skill set. Shd invest properly in @foreignoffice staff.
