This entire situation really threw me off and ruined my entire evening. It’s not because I’m upset with myself, but because I genuinely understand how the other person feels.
I upset a contributor by choosing the wrong wording. Looking back, I can see why it came across poorly, even though that wasn’t my intention. It’s a good reminder that intent alone isn’t enough, our behavior and communication need to align with it.
