Netflix's Yennefer of Vengerberg described the harassment she faced as "quite intense."
"I'm not on social media. I stopped," Chalotra told The Guardian. "I haven't been on it for a long time. The first season, for me … there was a lot of negativity. Vinland Saga has got to be the most low iq "deep" manga I have ever seen. It's main message is idiotic and despite the protagonists pacifistic ideals constantly failing he never acts like a rational man and tries to find some balance between the ideal and reality.
