50 years of Soviet domination did far less damage to the traditional culture, national identity & social cohesion of Eastern Europe than 50 years of globalist liberalism did to those things in Western Europe.

Dr Alan Fimister observes a parallel between the Marxist and Christian churches: Stalin is the visible church of the Worker's Paradise on earth, and has supremacy, and so Moscow is the Rome of Marx; Trotsky says each man can read the scripture of DAS KAPITAL, and interpret it as the spirit of historical dialectic moves him, and so is the Luther of Marx; and Maoists say Peking is the New Moscow, assuming the mantle of the visible leadership of the Church after the apostacy of Russia, and so they are the Eastern Orthodox Church of Marx. piped.video/p1UL2stf8e0?si=oPtm…

If a foreigner is in your country and demands you accept their culture as your culture or change your beliefs for that person's religious needs... That's not an immigrant. That's an invader.

The Capitol Police on in January 6th: -Planted the pipe bombs. -Shot and tear gassed peaceful protesters in efforts to agitate them. -Removed barriers and literally waived people to go towards the Capitol building. -Opened giant magnetic doors from the inside to allow people in the building. -Shot and killed an unarmed female veteran (the only person that was killed this day). -Lied about all of this. -Also lied about the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died of natural causes. -Became celebrities that received Congressional and Presidential awards for their “efforts.” Am I missing anything?
As well ask if an adopted child entering one's home should "have to" respect and love his father and mother. A home has a soul. A hotel does not. So is our homeland a home or a hotel?
I’m really curious, do you think immigrants that come here legally should have to assimilate into our culture?

One realizes how distorted, corrupt, and foolish modern political philosophy can be whenever one compares simplistic dimwittery to the plain wisdom of the Catechism: 2402 In the beginning God entrusted the earth and its resources to the common stewardship of mankind to take care of them, master them by labor, and enjoy their fruits. The goods of creation are destined for the whole human race. However, the earth is divided up among men to assure the security of their lives, endangered by poverty and threatened by violence. The appropriation of property is legitimate for guaranteeing the freedom and dignity of persons and for helping each of them to meet his basic needs and the needs of those in his charge. It should allow for a natural solidarity to develop between men. 2403 The right to private property, acquired or received in a just way, does not do away with the original gift of the earth to the whole of mankind. The universal destination of goods remains primordial, even if the promotion of the common good requires respect for the right to private property and its exercise. 2404 "In his use of things man should regard the external goods he legitimately owns not merely as exclusive to himself but common to others also, in the sense that they can benefit others as well as himself." 188 The ownership of any property makes its holder a steward of Providence, with the task of making it fruitful and communicating its benefits to others, first of all his family. 2405 Goods of production - material or immaterial - such as land, factories, practical or artistic skills, oblige their possessors to employ them in ways that will benefit the greatest number. Those who hold goods for use and consumption should use them with moderation, reserving the better part for guests, for the sick and the poor. 2406 Political authority has the right and duty to regulate the legitimate exercise of the right to ownership for the sake of the common good. And ... 2416 Animals are God's creatures. He surrounds them with his providential care. By their mere existence they bless him and give him glory. Thus men owe them kindness. We should recall the gentleness with which saints like St. Francis of Assisi or St. Philip Neri treated animals. 2417 God entrusted animals to the stewardship of those whom he created in his own image. Hence it is legitimate to use animals for food and clothing. They may be domesticated to help man in his work and leisure. Medical and scientific experimentation on animals is a morally acceptable practice if it remains within reasonable limits and contributes to caring for or saving human lives. 2418 It is contrary to human dignity to cause animals to suffer or die needlessly. It is likewise unworthy to spend money on them that should as a priority go to the relief of human misery. One can love animals; one should not direct to them the affection due only to persons. And... 2424 A theory that makes profit the exclusive norm and ultimate end of economic activity is morally unacceptable. The disordered desire for money cannot but produce perverse effects. It is one of the causes of the many conflicts which disturb the social order. A system that "subordinates the basic rights of individuals and of groups to the collective organization of production" is contrary to human dignity. Every practice that reduces persons to nothing more than a means of profit enslaves man, leads to idolizing money, and contributes to the spread of atheism. "You cannot serve God and mammon." 2425 The Church has rejected the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated in modem times with "communism" or "socialism." She has likewise refused to accept, in the practice of "capitalism," individualism and the absolute primacy of the law of the marketplace over human labor. Regulating the economy solely by centralized planning perverts the basis of social bonds; regulating it solely by the law of the marketplace fails social justice, for "there are many human needs which cannot be satisfied by the market." Reasonable regulation of the marketplace and economic initiatives, in keeping with a just hierarchy of values and a view to the common good, is to be commended.

I used to be a Libertarian until the day the State Supreme Court of Massachusetts granted that gays could form 'civil unions' with all the legal perquisites as marriage, but would not otherwise change family law. The gays refused. Living without family law was an insane idea, and having the state remain neutral was impossible as long as one side steadfastly refused to be neutral. 'Live and let live' works only if both sides sign on. In this case, activists demanded all souls affirm and applaud homosex, and publicly grant it the honors and dignities of marriage. Chastity must be grant no more honors than unchastity, normal as abnormal, straight as warped. But equalizing vice and virtue means abolishing virtue. Likewise for the First Amendment. The atheists had their chance to live with Christians in mutual peace, and they reject the idea with scorn. They seek our death, and will import any number of criminals, vandals, and jihadists as need to accomplish this, and the god-hating women in their ranks will welcome them. As a cease-fire among Christian denominations agreeing to never use the government to establish a church, and let each community decide where and how to worship the Christ, and, yes, to tolerate Jewish worship of their odd legalistic God -- the First Amendment was pragmatic and fair. The cease-fire in the American colonies was the perfect solution to the English problem created by Luther and Calvin and King Henry VIII, namely the evil absurdity of state-run national churches. But in the postwar years, when the USA mustered little or no resistance to Marxist infiltration, secular nonsense, sexual revolution, drugs, decay, rebellion against all norms -- and, indeed, we damned and condemned McCarthy and use his name as a by-word for witchhunter to this day -- the First Amendment was turned into a weapon against all Christians in the public square. Only the death cult of secularism was allowed to spread, the sex cult of liberation, the witch cult of feminism, the Moloch cult of abortion. Only the Marxist religion of vampire jihad by poor against rich, and the promise to loot the wealthy and drink their blood was permitted. None of these ideas are real. All exist merely to obliterate the virtues they oppose: piety, chastity, modesty, motherhood in women; fortitude and fairmindedness, diligence and dominion in men. Neutrality is mutual or it is impossible. When it is impossible, we all must choose one. Life or death, food or poison, Christ or hellfire.

Was chatting with #3 son. He opined that even really bad stories have a buried spark of a good story the muse meant to inspire. I asked "Even PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE?" We agreed the idea of extra terrestrials attempting to prevent mankind from developing a superweapon able to threaten other worlds via resurrecting the dead might have merit. He and I then discussed rewriting the Ed Wood film into a Cthulhu mythos tale. Instead of the Klaatu from DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL the anti-arms race alien is a Mi-Go from WHISPERER IN DARKNESS, disguised in a wax mask to mimic a human. Instead of a 'solarmanite bomb' the aliens want to warn mankind of the attempt by the NICE of England to contact the Macrobes, a malevolent form of non-material life dwelling in the dark recesses of space. Dr. Frost of the NICE believes obtaining super-science from these extraterrestrial energy beings will aid in effort to reform mankind into a scientifically organized species. The macrobes are, of course, larval forms of the Outer Gods, who seek contact with earth as part of a plot to waken Cthulhu, whose reanimation would threaten the Mi-Go outposts on Pluto (planet Yuggoth) as well as Earth. Meanwhile, human servants of the Great Race of Yith (SHADOW OUT OF TIME) foreseeing a 'jonbar hinge' or fork in the time stream, have summoned one of their masters from the far past to possessed the body of a New England archeologist in an attempt to manipulate events, defeat the NICE, and prevent Cthulhu's resurrection. The Great Race wish for earth not to be destroyed not because of any compassion for the human race, but solely because the Coleopterous race destined to rule earth after the extinction of man is one the Great Race crave to inhabit, once their colony in Triassic Australian is destroyed at by Flying Polyps. But the archeologists' beautiful daughter, seeing the odd behavior of her (now possessed) father, curious about his unexpected visits to Bikini Atoll and Dead Horse Alaska and the ghost-haunted area Manchac Swamp in Louisiana, seeks help from investigators... She appeals to the crime-solving priest Father Brown, parapsychologist Egon Spengler, and Silver John a wandering Appalachian balladeer who investigate the last known location her father was seen, Rue d'Auseil in Paris, where he visited the mute musician Erich Zann. Unexpectedly, however .... Well, you get the picture. Something somehow could be done even with a bad idea, if approached in the spirit of reckless joyful story telling.

Quote of the day 'The right thinks they are in an argument, the left thinks they are at war'
When are conservatives going to learn this is meaningless to the left? They know they are lying to you, they dont care if Elon is a Nazi or not They literally are supporting a guy who had a Totenkopf The right thinks they are in an argument, the left thinks they are at war

Someone listen to the man! Those who refuse to learn history are condemned to vote Democrat. For 2 years, pilgrims starved thanks to communism. Wm Bradford condemns "Plato's Dark Conceit" -- and if highly religious and honest men cannot make it work, no one can.

You do know that Plymouth went this route the day the Mayflower landed, right? The reason the Pilgrims nearly died out. History is a funny thing!
