I write fast code (mostly Rust 🦀), I go fast at videogames (mostly Dark Souls III ⚰️) and I communicate fast (mostly with my hands 🇮🇹).

Your favorite programming language is, like, GIGA BAD! Now that I have your attention, please enjoy this inverse kinematics simulation I made with Bevy. The algorithm will eventually go into the firmware for my servo based robot arm toy project.
If you can only learn two languages, they should be: Rust Italian (to order pizza)
If you can only learn two languages, they should be: Python C++

Every time I try a new thing and it works out ok it feels like I cracked another secret of the universe even if it's the silliest thing
criticism like this is a godsend. anytime I read similar stuff I end up going down some rabbit hole to understand it, and come out the other side with 10x the knowledge I was looking for in the first place
all good reasons. if you're gonna talk shit about Rust, *this* is how. no, none of this applies to your project in any way. your project can be done in rust.

I discovered Niri yesterday and I can't understand why this is not the de facto mandatory standard of interacting with computers already. This is SO GOOD yalter.github.io/niri/
Controversial opinion: you can like both C and Rust at the same time Execrable heresy: you can make the world better by learning and building things instead of wasting time aggressively parroting borrowed opinions on social media
I engineed the enginee that was engineered today it doesn't work, I haven't written the firmware yet and the front wheels are all wobbly as heck but ehhh it's still a zero-to-irl-thing in a handful of hours

When I refer to your "ego barrier," I'm referring to your subliminal defense mechanisms that make it hard for you to accept your mistakes and weaknesses. Your deepest-seated needs and fears--such as the need to be loved and the fear of losing love, the need to survive and the fear of not surviving, the need to be important and the fear of not mattering--reside in primitive parts of your brain such as the amygdala, which are structures in your temporal lobe that process emotions. Because these areas of your brain are not accessible to your conscious awareness, it is virtually impossible for you to understand what they want and how they control you. They oversimplify things and react instinctively. They crave praise and respond to criticism as an attack, even when the higher-level parts of the brain understand that constructive criticism is good for you. They make you defensive, especially when it comes to the subject of how good you are. At the same time, higher-level consciousness resides in your neocortex, more specifically in the part called the prefrontal cortex. This is the most distinctively human feature of your brain; relative to the rest of the brain, it's larger in humans than in most other species. This is where you experience the conscious awareness of decision making (the so-called "executive function"), as well as the application of logic and reasoning. #principleoftheday

This Twitch Highlight disaster is actually such a nightmare for SRC. A huge amount of runs on SRC rely on Twitch Highlights, and are about to be erased from existence in little over 2 months. Made me think of past situations that had similar impact on SRC.. (1/X)

I got myself a steam deck. Using my practice tools with the touchscreen is awkward so I made a controller operated radial menu from scratch and I'm super proud of it 🙂
