I am helping a customer in PA, where the electricity distribution monopolist jacked around a homeowner trying to go solar.
It is worth reflecting about how, if a monopoly can jack around Amazon like this, what it might do to the guy who is looking to get a new home or subdivision connected, or people wanting to get solar or storage or EVs into their homes, etc. -- the stuff that isn't likely to make its way into a lawyered-up complaint to a PUC.
The Illinois bill has many provisions accelerating clean energy and directly rebuts Trump's war on clean energy.
It also includes ending prohibition of new nuclear plants.
Blue states continue to support the clean energy transition.
More importantly, economics does too.
