It's mostly cgi but rotoscoped so it looks hand drawn i prefer the film art direction even tho the season 1 wasnt bad animation i dont think it was the right adaptation for it yk?

I believe for this scene the drew on top of a cg background with some ch elements. I'll have to find it again though but it's extremely impressive regardless. Too many people act like cgi is like ai

Most of it. The background is 3D model, and some of the movements on the characters look like it was 3D animated but draw over it with maybe such as rotoscoping or there is 3D character models being used. But its great animation though.
