congress has only appropriated $6 billion for the snap emergency contingency fund which is only enough to cover about two-thirds of what's needed to pay full benefits for november. judge is demanding administration violate the constitution to use funds not approved by congress

Nothing more lawless: Art III Courts are ordering the Art II Executive to spend monies the Art I Legislature hasn’t appropriated. Even limited to “emergency funding,” Courts have neither expertise nor authority to direct such spending. Pray no train derails w/ toxic chemicals.
