After 40 days as a consistent voice against shutting our government down, I voted YES for the 15th time to REOPEN. I’m sorry to our military, SNAP recipients, gov workers, and Capitol Police who haven’t been paid in weeks. It should’ve never come to this. This was a failure.

I have a new level of respect for Fetterman. He is refreshingly honest and the only Democrat voice of reason in DC. His colleagues should listen to him and follow his lead. They won’t.

Did it pass or not? DFW Airport has an EMPTY ATC Tower. Loaded planes just sitting there, waiting for Tuesday? I am glad hubby left at 4:38am yesterday to get to DC by noon today, to plan his 103 year old mother's funeral. I'm holding the fort in N TX. Thank you Sen. Fetterman
