from a technical standpoint, using chatgpt for music recommendations doesn't make any sense, it's costly AND llms aren't trained on music to be able to identify genres even, so even then the music recommendations would probably suck. they're already doing ts without ai

crazy how corporations are now choosing ai even when it's the costly and less competent option, its clearly gonna make their service worse too

GENERATIVE AI IS BAD AI. GENERAL AI CAN BE GOOD AI. general AI is being used to find a cure for cancer, also used in coding in order to make things like npcs for games, which is good AI Generative is stealing shit from real artists and "creating" something with it

The only useful ai is the one you can ask very specific questions or the ones that helps with medical science

1. Why hate AI 2. Hate is biologically unoptimized. 3. AI can save creators. Creators and artists always stop against power and badness… they are missing that AI needs their help NOW. •

I dislike generative AI but isn’t this just the same thing as YouTube recommending videos or Instagram recommending posts

Ai for sorting and managing and just general texting i think is nice and its a really big step up for humanity.. However, creating generative ai that generates realistic videos, pictures, drawings, coding and such is harming us real bad.

Idk if anyone else is American here, but it’s crazy how a lot of ppl blame immigrants for “taking our jobs,” but be so willing to support AI which is ACTUALLY taking jobs

It's encouraging that you have to opt in. AI is becoming toxic enough they won't risk a backlash by forcing it on us, that's a development.

I'm removing all Ai from my laptop and blocking everything. I'm fine with leaving only with offline products that were humanely engineered, there's plenty enough and still some people making real content that I actually want to pay for.

AI isn't the problem. The soulless way we're using it is. We're handing over art, music, and imagination to a machine that has no understanding of them, and that's what's worrying.

Doing this kind of stuff while Copyright Infringement due to AI use gets worse...is kind of funny because the bubble will burst so hard and cause so much damage to a lot of companies when they get sued.
