Daughter of India? She’s an American and will always remain one. Imagine a country that welcomes outsiders as Governors, while our own states hesitate to accept leaders from other states as Chief Ministers. It speaks volumes about the depth of their democracy and unity

Munir made his move. He was under pressure by terror groups to prove that India hasn’t imposed a new normal, and test Trump’s chokehold on Modi. It’s now Modi’s turn to prove him wrong/right.
They absolutely will. Pakis are desperately seeking the old normal where they carry out attacks in India and Indians do little more than print dossiers. They want to test Trump's thumb over Modi; and Munir is under pressure to prove India hasn't imposed a new normal.

Logically, police action should be taken against those who are CAUSING the air pollution. Not those who are protesting against it.
'Choking' point: Delhi enters 'Red Zone' Six areas breach 400+ AQI, equivalent to smoking 23 cigarettes a day. Prashant Bhushan, Supreme Court lawyer, says, "Peaceful protest is a fundamental right of citizens," commenting on police detaining activists at India Gate. #Delhi #AirPollution #ITVideo | @Snehamordani

The right to clean air is a basic human right. The right to peaceful protest is guaranteed by our Constitution. Why are citizens who have been peacefully demanding clean air being treated like criminals? Air pollution is affecting crores of Indians, harming our children and the future of our nation. But the government which came to power through vote chori simply doesn’t care, nor is it even attempting to solve this crisis. We need to take decisive action on air pollution right now instead of attacking citizens asking for clean air.
India gate clean air protest, we are taken away, shoved in a bus.

♦️”HAL has been manufacturing engines for decades and still only assembles kits imported” - As of last known report the SU-30 MKI engine has a 56% indigenous content with some of the advanced mfg steps happening in-house. If HAL was not reverse engineering it, it was bcos it did not have a mandate to reverse engineer from the govt. Any reverse engineering effort is almost equal to full engine development involving establishing testing benchmarking material and sub system characterisation facilities recurring the right engineering talent( not manufacturing talent) and pouring Billions on it for decades, as China did. Again this atleast partially comes at the feet of the author himself.

Our Government sends us reminders daily to file ITR on time. Why can’t we send similar message to authorities when we see a pothole? "Dear Government, there’s a pothole on Ring Road. Please check it here (Google Map link)" Accountability should be two-way in a Democracy!

This isn’t just an engineering failure, it’s also accountability failure. Mumbai’s 120+ yr old bridges stood strong for decades with minimal maintenance. Yet Atal Setu, our newest “engineering marvel,” inaugurated last year while running at 50–60% below its DPR projected capacity is already getting patchworks and elaborate deck replacements….
MMRDA Begins Resurfacing Works on Atal Setu for Enhanced Durability & Riding Comfort The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has initiated comprehensive resurfacing and pavement restoration works on the Atal Setu, ensuring long-term strength and superior riding comfort for commuters. To avoid complete closure of the bridge, the work is being carried out in phases. The third and fourth lanes will be resurfaced first, and once completed, the remaining two lanes will be taken up. After observing pavement distress in certain localised stretches on the Navi Mumbai–bound carriageway, starting at the 10.4 km mark, mainly on the outer heavy-vehicle lanes, MMRDA conducted a detailed technical review. Temporary rectification using mastic asphalt was carried out during the monsoon to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure commuter safety. Now that the monsoon has subsided, full-fledged resurfacing operations have commenced. The works are being executed under the expert guidance of IIT Bombay, covering every stage — from material selection and mix design to plant-level and on-site quality control. Since the project is still under the defect liability period, the entire cost will be borne by the contractor. MMRDA remains committed to maintaining world-class standards of quality, safety, and durability on the Atal Setu — ensuring a safe, seamless, and smooth driving experience on India’s longest sea bridge. We thank all commuters for their cooperation and regret the inconvenience caused during the resurfacing works. #TransformingMMR #RebootingMumbai #ReshapingMMR #MumbaiInMinutes #MMRDA #MMRDA50 #ViksitMumbai4ViksitBharat #FutureReadyMumbai #RebootReshapeReconnect #MumbaiInfrastructure #InvestInMMR #MMRProgress #BuildingTheFuture #SmartInfrastructure #UrbanTransformation #VisionMMR @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @DrSanMukherjee @PIBMumbai
