Trump just hit a new low: SCOTUS granted his request to cut SNAP benefits for millions. 750K Alabamians face hunger 19 days before Thanksgiving. Donate to feedingalabama.org/donate or volunteer at a local food bank.

He cannot allocate the money. Its Unconstitutional. Only Congress can allocate the money, not an Activist Judge. It was a trap. The monies are in the CR bill that was passed over 40 days by Republicans but they need 5 votes from Democrats to get the CR through and on @realdonaldtrumps desk to sign. Its unfortunate that parasites lie to you and you believe them. Research all. Its at your fingertips, they are psychopaths.

Imagine... being this misinformed and being this loud about it. Snap was paid last month. It gets paid this month on the 15th assuming the gov't reopens. So far nobody has missed a check.

They must not have the help wanted signs that we have up north?

Please understand that extending COVID GOV subsidiaries for failing DEM pushed ACA & other added REDICULOUS debt to Taxpayers is why DEMs are keeping the GOV SHUTDOWN & WORKING GOV PERSONNEL from getting a paychecks all while CONGRESS is STILL being PAID! Besides, the Antideficiency Act (a LAW) prohibits Federal Agencies from spending or obligating funds in excess of what is appropriated by Congress. & the available Contingency Reserve does not have enough to cover the HUGE recent increase to SNAP Recipients the past 4 years of YOUR OPEN BORDER. Asking DEMs to PASS the new clean FY26 CR & then negotiate your their healthcare demands. Quit HURTING TAXPAYING CONSTITUENTS & AMERICAN PATRIOTS! 😖🇺🇸🙏

Talk to your Democrats senators that refused to pass the continuing resolution to open the government back up that the House passed and every GOP Senator except one. Every Democrat Senator accept to voted against it in order to keep the government shutdown. It's not about President Trump. He doesn't vote for or against continuing resolutions. He only signs them into law as he will do once the Democrat Senators do their job.

Must be nice! I wish Illinois only had 750k folks on snap. Nope! 2 million! Great state to have so much poverty

The House passed a CR bill and forwarded it to the Senate back in September. The bill when approved would prevent/end the shutdown and restore all SNAP funding. Senate Dems have been repeatedly voting against it for months trying to force a shutdown. They know an extended shutdown freezes SNAP funding and causes more pain. They are hoping to use the shutdown as leverage for an unrelated budget negotiation on Obamacare subsidies. They are raising the flag of that lower court order to use the emergency reserve funding as a distraction to the fact that they have been voting to freeze snap funding for months. That reserve only has enough money to fund SNAP for about two weeks. THESE SENATORS ARE THE ONES WHO TOOK AWAY YOUR SNAP BENEFITS. GIVE THEM A CALL. WHEN THEY COME UP FOR REELECTION, THROW THE BUMS OUT!!!

Kay Ivey sent funds to all the food banks in Alabama to get them over the hump during this time. But by all means donate to people in need.

That's not what happened. Stop lying.

You have monies coming in from private donations. You need to get the Senior Centers, veteran halls and the Churches, to cook on Thanksgiving and serve meals
Replying to @kyleforalabama
I donated to my local food bank, which is how all this should work. A government that feeds you can starve you. Right?

The way communities are coming together to feed SNAP recipients is the way it used to be before gov’t became the daddy and husband.

Which is bullshit. Snap should have been on a schedule to revert to pre COVID levels adjusted for cola. People who never went back to work after COVID got to get their asses back to work.
