I know some grieve the direction my faith has taken.
I understand... I once would’ve grieved it too.
I hope you know my heart: I’m not rejecting love, I’m learning to embody it more fully.
Even if we differ, I still wanna walk in love, grace, & peace with all who'll walk w/me.
The more I study Jesus’ teachings, the more this question keeps tugging at me:
What if we stopped asking, “Do you believe in Jesus?”
…and started asking, “Do you live what Jesus taught?”
The difference might be the gap between religion about Jesus and the way of Jesus.
I don't write a lot of poetry, but last night was one of the rare moments where inspiration struck, so I listened.
I wrote the first lines before going to sleep, let it ruminate in my dreams, and penned the rest this morning.
I pray that it resonates 🙏🏾

Something I've been chewing on...
Christianity follows Jesus, but when it comes to salvation it's a lot of Paul & a lot less (if any) of what Jesus taught. The two are quite different.
What do you think Jesus would say if someone asked him in 2025, "What must I do to be saved?"
I watched it this weekend and as she told her story, at one point it clicked that I'd heard this part before... then I remembered where... an NDE testimonial video on YouTube a couple months ago (an NDE channel, not hers).
Funny thing about finding Betty is the video was suggested by YouTube. I didn't realize I'd seen her before. On last week's launch call a handful mentioned finding her via Mayim Bialik's podcast, which I had already bookmarked to watch at some point.
Then "A Course in Miracles" which I've heard mentioned quite a few times in recent months. It sat in my wishlist for a while, but then Betty Guadagno's video about it pushed me over the edge as I joined the weekly study group she started as we read through it together.
A couple more books added to the library.
Book 2 of Tom Campbell's "My Big Toe" which I'm excited to dive into after thoroughly enjoying the first (even if the last quarter made my head hurt).
I recently finished Aaron Abke's new book and it's a good one, so I thought I'd share my thoughts on it. It def one of my faves this year.

Meditation is something I've heard a lot over the years but never understood. Picked this up on a whim & so glad I did. It framed meditation from both a spiritual & neuroscience POV. Highly recommend this one!

"The Inner Compass" by @moretothat is short but impactful. It fell in line with other books I'd read recently and is one of a few this year I am readily sharing with others.

"Sketch Your Mind" by @zsviczian was another great read this year. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for his Visual Thinking Workshop course to dive deeper into the world of 4D PKM, @obsdmd & @excalidraw
