Unfortunately, although he is fine physically, he is deaf and blind now, and he suffers from dementia which makes it hard to handle him. He became incontinent a couple months ago, and it’s been a struggle bc he’s become so skittish, we can’t even put a diaper on him. He will cry and pace for an hour before bed, and is generally deteriorating. We know he could probably go on for a couple more years physically, but we cannot watch him suffer mentally day to day so we had to make a very tough call today ❤️
