The FAA has cancelled over 1,000 flights out of America’s busiest airports. Instead of negotiating with Democrats, Republicans would rather let air-traffic controllers go unpaid, they’d rather ground flights, and they'd rather punish travelers. JUST IN: Delta Air Lines tells me it will preemptively cancel ~170 flights on Friday as part of the government directive to scale back flights. The carrier says mainly regional flights will be canceled.
