On the Right Wing Cultural "Victory"
Social media is the surveillance state. It's purpose is to create attitudes that manufacture consent from targeted groups and expand the dominion of the technological system at the detriment of personal power.
The genius of this technology is that participants authentically believe they are "winning", precisely because they can participate. They mistakenly liken personal activity to freedom and control. It creates an artificial illusion to uniquely suit the needs of every user, convince him of his victory, and prevent him from rebellion.
The confused belief that "aesthetic posting on social media" constitutes an authentic act of revolution is due to the change in how propaganda operates. Man throughout the 1900s was a passive experiencer, merely able to view or listen to narratives via the television or radio.
Now, man has been upgraded to a participant! He is allowed the "freedom" to actively promote and form his "chosen" attitudes, so long as those preferences align with the will of the technological system.
These attitudes, of course, are not his own. "His preferences" were artificially incepted into his folk consciousness across generations of over-socialized lives in urban and suburban prison camps. As a result, he lost the ability to create any authentic idea in accordance with his tradition. He has no relationship whatsoever with his authentic, ancestral folk orientations. Instead, he exclusively promotes artificial constructs.
Propaganda began to infect Americans like a plague post 1800s. With the Manifest Destiny era of frontier conquest firmly concluded, the American began to abandon the wilds all together and even his family farms to join urbanized environments. There, his traditional attitudes and orientations were silently replaced, through an over-socialized environment, to align perfectly with technological expansionism.
Sociologist, Jaques Ellul, noticed this same trend with the French people, writing:
“To uproot men from their surroundings, from the rural districts and from family and friends, in order to crowd them into cities still too small for them; to squeeze thousands into unfit lodgings and unhealthy places of work"
— this was all done in the name of progress.
His sedentary lifestyle and total reliance on the technological system to survive, forged a new myth as his god — that progress meant to go boldly into the future as a servant to technology, that a day would come when technology becomes so powerful it would create a utopian civilization in which all suffering would be obliterated from human experience.
Ellul clarifies the result of this myth:
“Men now live in conditions that are less than human. Consider the concentration of our great cities, the slums, the lack of space, of air, of time, the gloomy streets and the sallow lights that confuse night and day.
Think of our dehumanized factories, our unsatisfied senses, our working women, our estrangement from nature. Life in such an environment has no meaning.”
Whether the individual supports the Left or the Right is irrelevant. Jaques Ellul accentuates the idea that “The supreme luxury of the society of technical necessity will be to grant the bonus of useless revolt and of an acquiescent smile".
Your media posts, your aesthetics are the useless revolt. X is the useless revolt for the Right. Reddit is the useless revolt for the Left. Facebook the useless revolt for the Boomer. And so on and on forever.
Every group is presented a suitable illusion to provide the feeling that they are in fact "winning", that they, absolutely, are in control.
Such "fact" is agreed upon within everyone in the environment and so they begin to chant "in the end we win", as their members are cut down in the street and nation invaded by tax-funded foreigners.
And you have the audacity to believe the promotion of manufactured terminology constitutes victory, that a chant of "remigration" or "deportations" is a virtue?
Certainly, let's fund our own invasion and then allow the foreign army to kindly leave, yet again paid for by own tax dollars, so that they are free to invade us again, when the time is right; yes, surely, that will "save the West"!
Zero want them removed. They want them killed and, preferably, in public, as Americans had legally been authorized to do from the days before our founding and into the 1920s through various bounty hunting and scalping laws. The inability to even express this in writing, to express the proper conquest of our land through traditional methods and laws is a prime example of technological possession.
Your media posts are useless. They have no value. Whatever aesthetic is promoted by the state on Monday versus Tuesday presents no authentic value other than a surrogate activity to distract from our crisis of inability.
