Healthcare companies move at the speed of trust. This is why we at @themoldcompany heavily focused on: 1) Hiring the best in the game: Our Founding Physician and Medical Directors helped define CIRS and published the only evidence-backed protocol. 2) Being value first: Our providers show up where patients already are across Reddit, Facebook groups, IG content. 3) Making strong evidence a non-negotiable: Every element of our protocol is backed by data. We maintain the largest biobank in the space and rigorously evaluate every new study. 4) Prioritizing partnerships over competition: Our tests are offered through 30+ leading CIRS clinics at the same price patients pay. The mission is shared awareness, and we don't care about turf wars.

Hospitals are supposed to be the safest places. But for ninety nurses and midwives worked in a water-damaged hospital in Helsinki until 2017, that wasn't the case. They were 6× more likely to experience neurological symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, arrhythmia, pain. Imagine how this shaped patient outcomes too.

We need to call out the shady landlords "It's just mildew" and "we'll clean it with vinegar" is putting your health in danger Happened to me in my Brickell apartment

On the bright side the upside potential from status-quo looks good. We might live 100+ healthy years one day!
The modern healthcare specialist experience: 15 min intake with your provider + 20 min in the waiting room under intense white UV lights + 2 min spent discussing actual condition “Try this for 2 weeks” + Maybe a test, maybe not. Conclusion: See you in 2 months because we're fully booked The end!

The largest study ever done on mold in homes (Spengler, 1994, 13K homes) reports prevalence of dampness and mold in 50% of them. 50%!! This doesn't mean you should freak out about it. Simply that mold should be part of your ongoing maintenance. If you spot growth or are concerned about damp smell, get yourself a dust test (~$199) for clear answers.

Is America finally realizing that mold is a serious issue worth preventing and tackling? Monthly searches for "mold inspection" on Google Search

True! Closed that loop this year :) Started in freshman year of college with chronic fatigue, brain fog, inability to retain any info (had to write anything down ~3x to absorb anything). Got better after I left this dorm. Blamed it on food and diet, new country, etc. Symptoms ended 2 months ago (10+ years since freshman year) during MoldCo treatment, when I reached step 2 (cleared MARCoNS).
The biggest comeback is making yourself feel like yourself again.

Directly from a patient quote: "In April, I found MoldCo and got the labs. My MSH level was nonexistent - and I was like ‘This is it!’ Low MSH also means a dysfunctional pituitary gland, and this all now ties in because it affects your mood, you can’t relate, it basically dehumanizes you. I was basically going through life with a big chunk of the emotional spectrum just missing. This means also connecting with people, spiritual, etc. not there at all. MoldCo changed my life" $99 to get your MSH tested (alongside 2 more markers). Sold entirely at cost!

Why we do what we do at @themoldcompany If you're suspecting mold exposure could be the root cause behind your chronic symptoms and want a test, HMU for a discount
This is me. Exposed to high levels of toxic mold for months in a rental home. Brain fog, fatigue, sick more often, working memory clobbered. Treatment with MoldCo has been a huge blessing, finally recovering. If not for them mold wouldn't even be on my radar as a potential cause. Most doctors aren't trained to diagnose it. Guarantee I'd just be wasting time and money treating symptoms instead of getting at the underlying issue. Even "get more rest" ironically makes mold cases worse, because you just spend more time inside inhaling the badness. Rest more, feel worse, brutal cycle. If you're dealing with health issues that could be related to mold, test for it. Worth it 10x over.

Ladies and gentlemen, the first mold guide: Leviticus 14:33-16:34: Cleansing From Defiling Molds - The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mold in a house in that land, the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house.’ The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean.
If you think you’re not affected by mold in your home or office, those statistics might change your mind. Not to say that you should freak out - mold is part of the modern human life. But testing and detoxing should be too.

You eat organic. You hit the gym. You filter your water. You do everything “right.” But there’s one thing in your home, office, or car that can quietly undo it all…in just 24 hours. Let’s talk about mold.

What Ariana has done to date is truly next level too. While incredibly sick, she went on to find the specialists who could help her AND convinced them to join a novel startup. Our Medical Director CLOSED his clinic and joined us FT. She also found the investors that were most aligned with our company. @ameekapadia from @cantos had been seriously considering launching a similar company in the last few years. She lived through Mold toxicity.

Kevin isn’t on Twitter and he may never see this. But out of the 1,000+ founders I’ve met, he has the strongest work ethic. His fire burns differently from how deeply he cares about the problem he’s solving and people he’s helping. It’s a drive only matched by Ariana’s.

I could not be more excited to be working with @m0ldilocks - she’s the most impressive founder I ever met without a doubt. Her conviction and relentless desire to win are a constant inspiration. Ariana has and will run through any wall to build @themoldcompany. Right out of Wharton, I joined Kevin at Ara Labs where we locked ourselves in a closet (Lola’s VIP) to build the company. He’s the first person who thought me how to build at high velocity and push the limit constantly.
Exciting news at MoldCo (@themoldcompany). We are formally announcing Julien Lepleux (@lpxjulien) and Kevin Yanos as co-founders.
