Sad story. I know a Lady. She became rich by running a supermarket. Her things were expensive. But customers didn't have a choice, becuase she was the only one around. Year after year, she extorted customers. Then one Saturday morning, another supermarket opened just 4 minutes away from her. Yeah... The normal thing happened. She lost all her customers. Since she had made a lot of money before then, she had acquired some other good locations that she wasn't using. Customers are gone, and it's good to balance the maths... Sales disappeared too. So... She decided to build an eatery close by. She spent a lot of money on the place. Very appealing. Everything was intact. No error at all. But... People only visited for the first 2 weeks. Or max one month. Huuh? WHY? I know you are wondering what must have been her mistake. Before I tell you... Let me take you to the popular Oraimo. Today... Everyone wants to buy an Oraimo product because of what? Oriamo bought everyone's trust because of their unique quality phone cords. Very simple: They created a positive perception for the company by doing so. It is called the HALO EFFECT. The opposite of that is when you create a negative perception about your business. This is called the HORN EFFECT. Where one bad product, trait, or experience creates a negative bias that even if your future products/businesses are solid, people will still doubt them. And that was it. That was what happened. She had created a negative perception of any business that would be around her, just from that one business. It takes a lot to remain successful in business. Manage your greed well. And build a solid reputation, because that is the most valuable currency in business. It is sad. But it happened so you would learn. Please don't learn the hard way. . . . See You Again Next Time. I'm The Mad Profit Guy.

I stopped patronizing my friend for one funny reason. I drove to his place one day... Enough parking space in front of him, but getting there was a problem. On the other hand, the road was very rushy. 95% chance of getting jammed by a stray keke, okada, or maybe a flying bus. The odds weren’t looking good. But I summoned courage. And made it in. Got in the shop, bought everything I needed, laughed with my guy, and it was time to leave... I tried angle 1. No way. Tried reverse and snake technique. Still no way. I was sweating, and people were watching. One last try, then... KRAAAA! Bumper said, “I’m tired... I’m out.” Pulled off like a shirt. Definitely, I regretted ever considering that place, not to mention stopping. But I faked it's that "it's not a big deal composure" LOL.. Till today, he has not fixed it. He's not making sales, and I'm not sure he would trace it to that, even if I've spoken to him about it. He doesn’t know some of us spend millions on flooring empty space outside, even to meet the express? Great customer experience starts with this too. I should be able to drive in and out in peace. Nobody wants to risk their millions of Naira worth of car to come spend just 5k with you. Sorry bro. That’s the end. This is the same mindset everyone who drives a car moves with. Some people are trying to stop, and suddenly they zoom off... It is the safety of their car they considered.
“What could they possibly be building here?” Was the question I asked day by day, toward the tail end of 2023, as a construction project took place at a superb location. Every passerby was equally as curious as myself. Weeks passed, and with every new addition... I noticed underground tanks being installed. The roof featured wide, open spaces designed to let cars pass through effortlessly. Then... a collective murmur started spreading, and finally, the realization hit: “Oh yes! It’s a fueling station!” Mind you.... This wasn’t just any gas station. Unlike the small, cramped, and risky ones we had become accustomed to in the town, where you'd have to be extremely careful to have your way in, or else your car would be hit, scratched.... This one was sleek... Spacious. And strategically designed to handle a high volume of customers with ease. We really couldn’t wait for it to open. The launch day arrived... And it seemed like the entire community turned up to fuel their cars and bikes. Finally... We have a fueling station that feels modern and inviting. We were all excited. But something unplanned happened just one month later. I found myself driving back to one of the old, cramped, and chaotic gas stations I had sworn off. No. It wasn't only me. Many of us had quietly migrated back to that risky place again. The new gas station, with all its advantages, suddenly seemed… Unremarkable. I know your next question is... "HOW?" How could this happen? How could a business with such an ideal location, perfect layout, and undeniable appeal fail to hold our attention? Well... I’ve seen this happen time and again. Supermarkets, pharmacies, eateries, and many other businesses that are dependent on location have faced the same fate. The issue isn’t the location. It’s the missed opportunity to MAXIMIZE that location. Let me tell you... A great location is like an irresistible invitation. It catches the eye, announces your presence, and likely compels people to step in. If they finally step in... Would they return? Location is just the beginning. It’s what you do with it; how you optimize the experience, meet customer needs, and deliver consistent value, that determines success in a location. At every local business I’ve opened, I have heard something like; “but you are so lucky with this location, dude! That's very true... But without me maximizing it, there’s no way you’d ever think of me being lucky. There’s no point in finding the perfect spot if you don’t make it irresistible for customers to stay and come back. The power of a location does not lie just in being seen. The power lies greatly in giving people a reason to return. I always know your next question, so I'm prepared. And I'll answer it. How do I maximize my business location? How do I turn it into something more than just a place customers notice? How do I turn it into a destination they trust, love, and recommend? 1. Optimize Your Location’s Accessibility Ramps, wide aisles, and good lighting are not just essentials but also signals of care. 2. Turn Customers Into Advocates Happy customers are your best marketing tool, especially for a location-based business. Word-of-mouth travels faster when people associate your location with exceptional service and convenience. So, focus on customers’ satisfaction from the start. 3. Understand the Flow Foot traffic is different from drive traffic. Not all prime locations cater to the same kind of movement. Tailor your approach to the type of traffic your location gets. Offer convenience for drivers. 3. Capture Passersby: Entice people passing by with clear signage, special offers, or eye-catching displays. 4. Turn Your Location Into a Landmark: People should associate your business with your location as a “must-visit” spot. Whether it’s a signature design, iconic branding, or an innovative concept, make your presence unforgettable. Thank you for your time. . . . See You Again Next Time. I'm The Mad Profit Guy.

Moving forward, I will no longer accept fintech or micro finance bank account on this page. I need your traditional bank detail. If you can’t provide that, get out of my page. No Opay, kuda, palmpay or whatever. Even if it’s 5 Naira, I’m sending to traditional banks.

Great job, guys ❤️ He has taken down the account. Let me also use this medium to say this: It was someone that brought my attention to it in the DM. There’s a bond here already. Let’s look out for each other. Let’s be our brother’s keeper. Because if the 50k had gone to him yesterday, it wouldn’t have changed anything from my end at all. The money would go out still. But not to someone who doesn’t deserve or need it. Many people need it, and on the queue. I really cherish what we do here, and this is my home. I mean it. This is my home. Without waiting for support day, if any account is fishy, bring it to my attention, we will chase the person out… Kabakaba.
All of you, please help me verify this account if it's real. @juwwonlo8 I'll pend till tomorrow. Good night ♥️

Without a calculator: 6+6+6+6+6+6=? Need a few seconds? Go ahead. Yeah... The answer is 36. 6x6x6x6x6x6=? Experienced a glitch? Exactly what I want you to realize. What seem like small changes in growth can lead to ridiculous and impractical turnaround in your life. You were able to add 6 to 6 because it is intuitive. And that's just straightforward thinking... It's linear. Multiplying 6x6x6x6x6x6 is counterintuitive, and your head may explode if you try to do the maths. But look deeply... You would realize it is still the addition of several multiples of 6. Everything you are doing day in and day out is NOT what you will get at the end of the day. You will get multiple folds of it. An exaggeration. Compounding effect. So... If you like, do what is right with your time. If you like, play it away. The compounding effect is waiting ahead for you. . . . See You Soon.
