Everyone always says I've always been like that u always see things before they're cool &idk it's a curse. Like yes I like when people love things I love, I really do. But the car thing is WILD, or when people say I'm weird for liking something then they like it when it's "cool"
& w how fast everything is these days it doesn't matter how long/ how much research or hyper fixation I have on a thing, if someone wants it bc they see it start becoming "popular" it's like BOOM instant gratification w no intentional regard for curating their personal style.
Like there's a reason why I like ugly/interesting things it's bc my whole life people eventually "get it" & tbh I LOVE/D IT but like sometimes I just want my own thing after a lifetime of THAT 🥲 but I hate gatekeeping bc I'm a girls girl it's just like, idk find your own thing!?
First the lady down the street gets a heritage bronco so like three doors down, boom same car as me. now I have a gladiator the lady ACROSS THE STREET gets one?? sometimes I just want to like a thing & have it be my own thing, esp after having my whole personality stolen 🥲 sigh.
