There was a half billion dollar contract given to a shed on a beach. I think that’s pretty self evident.
A high-ranking Home Affairs Department official has blown the whistle on what he says was corruption infecting the federal government’s offshore detention regime. theage.com.au/national/pouri…

Don Farrell asked why after all this time, the #NACC still hasn’t made any major findings of corruption. “That’s an indication that the system is working. There is no corruption, & I say that's a good thing!” Appalling response. It doesn’t even make sense. Makes my blood boil.
Richardson, Laws dead sure sad for their families possibly newsworthy enough for an announcement but nothing more rest of us condemned 2suffer endless media coverage, wealthy parasite’s comments &politicians falling over themselves to embellish their gr8ness 4 weeks on end
people die every day that contribute far more to society than Richardson & Laws neither did much else than feather their own nests, shitting on genuinely good people along the way the public fawning over these two by politicians & media is pathetic 🤮🤮🤮

not sure I understand why political, media, wealthy set feel they need to heap praise on people like Graham Richardson and now John Laws both men were self centred, self important, selfish pricks why beat around the bush…. just don’t get it

I expect to see Jillian Segal to come out kicking and screaming about this This is after all, her job. What we taxpayers are funding her for This is genuine antisemitism And yet we won't hear a word from her as she pissfarts at the edges, policing artists and writers festivals

the minute Andrew Hastie moved to the back bench Sussan Ley’s leadership was finished

Sarah Henderson remains nasty &self centred. Her regular treatment of constituents in Corangamite was abysmal. Then to be gifted a Victorian senate seat as if she was entitled2 it after being voted out in Corangamite Henderson’s comments of Sussan Ley’s leadership is her to a T

How about no? Taxpayers should not have to foot the bill and pay a bribe just so media companies can make moral decisions such as not taking money from dirty gambling companies. The nerve of these people.

I'd prefer Australia's security information came from elected members of the Australian government and not some Boy-Who-Cried-Wolf pantomime performer who beats the hysteria drum for attention and funding The most tiresome little man Forever publicity whoring #pfffft

I hope no horses die today. I’ll be thinking of the many who have -victims of the gambling industry- hundreds of race horses sent to slaughterhouses😞💔 #MelbourneCup #YouBetTheyDie #BoycottCruelty #GamblingSickness abc.net.au/news/2019-10-17/r…

The Greens have just secured a Senate inquiry into the capital gains tax (CGT) discount, exposing one of the most regressive tax breaks in Australia’s system which is inflating house prices by incentivising speculative investment in property!
early 80s Australia kids were literally terrified of nuclear war bc pathetic losers in the US & Russia were so self involved in their own egos they didn’t give a stuff about the consequences so now, largely bc of dickheads in power we are right back to square one ffs #4corners

30 years ago the notion that a US bomber, ship or submarine could arrive in Australia would have been met with riots on the streets, and Labor in Government would have never allowed it in the first place #4corners

if it’s not the US leaning on Australia not to sign the ban treaty what is it then? #4corners

A lobbying code of conduct which allows our defence minister to discuss defence business with a global contracting firm in cabinet then take a job with that firm nine days after leaving politics is a lobbying code which is corrosive of public trust. thesaturdaypaper.com.au/comm…

Labor supporter, however their lack of real action on addressing the housing affordability crisis is a disgrace I own a house, our kids, like many thousands of others, have little if any chance of affording a house Govt is doing essentially nothing to address the issue
