If #AI agents can instantly compare, switch, and optimize across services in real-time, then brand, network effects, and even embedded integrations lose power. The classic strategies for retaining users—whether through a superior product, first-mover advantage, or viral loops—could become temporary at best, requiring companies to constantly re-earn their relevance.

I miss my @Replit agent 3 - too busy in project to take time to reflect on specs and interact

Can AI be a "convivial" tool? Illich, quoting Thomas Aquinas, suggests reflecting on the use of technologies and tools that "distract or destroy personal relationships." Artificial intelligence may or may not be a convivial tool (if not the convivial tool par excellence, perhaps), but the responsibility of judging a tool in terms of its destructiveness to our relationships is a responsibility we cannot pretend not to have.
The way they fumbled at @Medium through bad monetization choices, resistance to change, and bad #UX will really be remembered in books

Absolute customer exploitation masterclass for Miro to suggest customers to switch currency from dollar to euro (due to the current devaluation cycle), and also subtly propose a 1 on 1 exchange (while now the change is 0.86), and not even mention how much you used to pay.
Any theory of change that is premised on the idea of universally accepted, driving *values* is actively advocating for totalitarism.
Am I the only one who freaks out every time I eat beetroot?

6/ This shift isn’t coming—it’s here. Buyers are moving fast. Agents are emerging. Ambiguity will get you out-coordinated. Clarity wins. #AI #AgentEconomy #FutureOfWork #Automation #OrgDesign #PlatformThinking
MEANING is the hardest, not TASTE. MEANING = everything that is not free lunch. Everything you have to compromise for. That's hard
LLMs have convincingly demonstrated that coding is the easiest activity, maths is medium hard, and having taste is the hardest

Organizations that can't measure performance end up measuring performativeness instead.

Sometimes working with @Replit's agent 3 feels like you're working with an extremely fast 12 years old developer with ADHD
Friction breeds power-over, leverage is freedom.
It's absolutely fascinating to me how something with the user experience of Eventbrite (esp. organizer side) can still be viable in the market

I never thought I'd say that but I recently moved out of Edge browser back to Chrome and I miss copilot

Talked to a multinational financial firm that built a system to turn customer feedback into prompts, feed them into Replit, and auto-generate platform extensions that solve the customer’s pain. Closest thing I’ve seen to an autonomous self-improving business! No dev in the loop.
Also, try to make lasagna with that
This robot can save you 7 hours a week you would spend in cooking your dinner, effectively wipe out those remaining chunks of conviviality you still in your life.
