And over time, that friction becomes harder to handle if you're not practising it. AI isn't all bad. But my aim right now? Balance. More playdates, less screen time. Staying curious, asking questions, and helping my kids find their own balance too. (2/2)
My child said chatting with #AI is "like playing with a friend who always wants to play what you want to play." That's when it stopped feeling harmless. Of course kids will favour AI. No disagreement. No friction. None of the messy, necessary parts of human interaction. (1/2)
Context for those who don't know - the VA Run was yesterday and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. An absolute SCORCHER of a day. ☀️ This morning, it is mostly overcast/very cloudy. Well done to all the runners!
There are 1,700 people in #Brunei today, looking at the weather thinking "You've got to be kidding me!" ⛅ #varun #victoryathletes
#brainrot is has infiltrated the local supermarket bakery aisle (they were the only themed cakes on display). Oh dear... #tungtungtungsahur #feelinglikeanoldmillennialparent

At a previous All-Hands, the incredible Sofia Toso shared the design team's philosophy that inspired our approach to Dark Mode - "komorebi", which is a Japanese word for light filtering through forest leaves. Want to learn more? Here's our post: buffer.com/resources/dark-mo… (2/2)
Dark Mode has arrived at @Buffer! This is the second most requested (non-channel) feature on Buffer's feature request board, and it has been a long time in the making. One of the things I love about Buffer is the thought and care that goes into every feature (1/2)
Being sick reminded me how much empathy at work matters - the teammate who says “we’ve got this,” the manager who checks in to ask how you’re feeling, the culture that trusts you’ll come back when you’re ready. Grateful to work somewhere that makes space for being human.(2/2)
My family and I have been down with the flu for almost two weeks. We missed most of my brother’s visit, and I’ve fallen behind on half-marathon training. But one thing I didn’t feel was guilt for slowing down. (1/2)

The "love" story was really all just about jumping each other. And at the most highly inappropriate times (Oh, is your friend about to be killed? But look at the wing leader - so hot). Only thing that got me through is that it was an easy read with an interesting plot. (2/2)
Fourth Wing was painful (and I wanted to love it - as it was recommended by many I admire). The main character was highly irritating, repetitive ("But he wants to killll meeeee") and just such a downer. (1/2)
