🇺🇸 “Our leaders sold out America for Israel — a tiny country of 9 million with zero impact on our lives. Every Congress member talks more about Tel Aviv than Tennessee. How many Americans did Iran kill? None. How many died from fentanyl? Thousands. Stop wasting our money protecting their borders while ours collapse.”

AIPAC exists solely to ensure unconditional U.S. support for Israeli apartheid. AIPAC buys silence, manufactures consensus, and punishes resistance from Republicans and Democrats alike. The good news is now the mask is off. Ever since October 7th, it has become readily apparent how bought off all of our politicians are on both sides of the aisle. We’ve seen both Presidential canidates declare their loyalty to Israel. Even in local politics like NYC it has become a requirement in order to serve any sort of leadership role in this country

Today, I documented 27 seconds of my nephew Khalid’s life in our tent. He is a child who will soon turn two. They say childhood is a time of butterflies and flowers, but Khalid’s childhood is a time of flies and a tent. In these seconds, you will see his beautiful, innocent face, and you will see the flies that land on him without mercy. You will see a child who doesn’t even know how to swat these insects away from his eyes, simply because he has gotten used to them. This is his world, and this is his life. These few seconds are the summary of our life here. An eternity of intense pain condensed into fleeting moments. We watch innocence learn to coexist with ugliness, and we watch a childhood grow in the shadow of neglect and helplessness. Every second that passes is a reminder that his childhood is being stolen from him before our very eyes, and we can do nothing but watch. For this reason, and with all the pain in my heart, these 27 seconds are all I have to show you the extent of our suffering. So I’m looking for help to rent a roof over our heads, just a small room, or a humble apartment, to preserve Khalid’s childhood dignity and protect us from this daily torment. All we want is to live for one single day without flies sharing our lives. Please donate and share chuffed.org/project/156264-h…

The keffiyeh is a symbol of resistance. For Palestinians, it represents struggle, survival, and refusal. It’s what farmers wore in the fields under occupation. It’s what freedom fighters wore in the streets of Ramallah and Gaza. Now it’s worn around the world by people who refuse to look away from genocide. This scarf is not a fashion statement, it’s a political one. The act of wearing it is a subtle but clear rejection of colonialism, apartheid, and silence
