Proud to back @translibgroup — a brilliant grassroots group fighting for trans liberation within Your Party. Their demands are essential for real party democracy. With trans people under unprecedented threat in the UK, I’m proud to always stand with the trans community.

📜🧐 This is a fantastic set of demands — in very close alignment with our own!
I’ve always fought — and always will — for maximum member democracy. If you believe Your Party should be explicitly socialist, radically democratic, rooted in mass movement and led by our members, not MPs — join me and back these democratic demands: (1/3)

It’s a shame that an inaccurate statement has been leaked to a former Sun journalist. The MOU directors were already in the process of transferring ownership and all of the resources of MOU, and that legal process is now nearing completion. I am taking on the role of director of MOU to see this through and ensure we’re ready for the conference at the end of November. The movement owes Jamie Driscoll, Beth Winter and Andrew Feinstein a debt of gratitude for their integrity, professionalism and hard work. They’ve been patient, constructive and consistently sought to resolve matters diplomatically. Thank you for your patience — this brings the chapter to a close and these resources will now be used for Your Party, as was always intended.

I’ve just submitted the full draft Constitution and Standing Orders — written by members of @DemSocsYP for @thisisyourparty — as major amendments to the founding documents, using the crowd editing feature on the membership portal. You can read them at dsyp.org

🚨🚨🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨🚨🚨 This old draft of the constitutional document for @thisisyourparty is vague, rushed, and limits members to binary choices with no way to introduce new ideas. Members deserve real scrutiny, not a rubber stamp. dsyp.org/wp-content/uploads/…

The fact that we only heard rumours about this weekend's regional assemblies through the grapevine a few days ago was bad enough. Now we've heard that the East London assembly has been cancelled, for no apparent reason. This is SHAMBOLIC.

In an unprecedented display of unity, seven groups on the left came together at @TWT_NOW to agree on a programme for winning a member-led socialist Your Party. Read their proposal below: prometheusjournal.org/2025/1…

The old parties are ruled by cliques and careerists who see politics as a ladder, not a duty. A socialist party must be led by accountable delegates of the movement — not insulated elites. That means mandatory reselection and recall for all politicians.

Local branches are the engines of member-led organising and democracy 50% of membership fees going to local branches will empower them to take a properly funded lead on community action

🎙️ We are excited to announce the launch of Cuba Analysis 🇨🇺, a new podcast hosted by Nina Blodau & @HelenYaffe which goes beyond the headlines to explore Cuba’s development from ecology to economics, science to society, and culture to communism. 🌐 cubanalysis.org (1/3)
Banning dual membership undermines the solidarity we need to build a mass, democratic socialist party capable of challenging capitalism. We reject gatekeeping membership and insist Your Party belong to its members; not to bureaucratic rules that weaken us before we’ve even begun
