RINOs: The Texas GOP establishment liked it better when Greg Abbott was Attorney General. Ken Paxton has been a nightmare for their corporate donors, bringing in $6 billion in settlements and judgments from Big Pharma and Big Tech. Abbott averaged just $120 million a year, while Paxton has pulled in nearly $600 million annually by refusing to bow to corporate interests. That’s exactly why Paxton should replace Cornyn in the Senate and Aaron Reitz should succeed him as Attorney General. Keeping Cornyn or promoting Chip Roy would only take us back to Abbott-era cronyism. Make no mistake, their effort to impeach Ken Paxton (and President Trump) was never about countertops or corruption - it was about stopping him from putting the interests of Texans over the interests of corporate donors.
