On today’s tour, we made a stop at the Troy Bridge to assess any potential damage following Hurricane Melissa.
We’re happy to report that the bridge remains intact, a clear testament to the quality of the infrastructure work carried out under this government.
However, we did observe that the river has widened and shifted its course, which will require further planning and attention moving forward.
Remember when donating, DO NOT donate clothes that you yourself wouldn’t wear - visibly old clothes with sunburns (bun out!), clothes with holes, tears, and stains‼️
The Ministry of Culture says National Days of Prayer will be held on Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16 as the country continues to recover from Hurricane Melissa.

I sincerely hope this disaster has taught us that regular maintenance is just as important as the initial construction.
