@GooglePlayBiz Hey I'm a solo dev and trying to publish an app to the play store but now I'm stuck needing 12 testers to use the app for at least 14 days. I don't think this is a very indie developer friendly policy and really hinders our ability to test ideas out 🥲💔

Google Play rejected my production access, demanding 14 more days of testing. The 12-tester rule feels like gatekeeping for indie devs. Is this about quality or stalling small creators? Also, I cannot track how many users continue to use my application with the code I shared. I now understand better why developers prefer Apple. #GooglePlay

Google Play now forces indie devs to get 12 testers before going to production. This is unfair and only pushes people to buy fake testers. Indies lose time, big studios don’t care. Google should support devs, not block them. #IndieDev #AndroidDev

After @GooglePlay broke my payment profile & made me create a new dev account to fix it, they are now classing it as a "new" account so before I can publish any apps I need 12 testers to use the app for 14 days. No exceptions. I've only been making apps for years! @GooglePlayBiz

It's sad but pretty much all websites are subject to attacks - mostly automated opportunists rather than targetted. Good hosts monitor these to spot persistent troublemakers. I do. I recently contacted an ISP to inform them of a user doing this & got a good but worrying reply😂.
