All my childhood, I had been called fickle-minded, as if it was a bad thing. I was compared to the kids who were one-track minded and excelling at it.
I tried to keep up with them, only to develop massive inferiority complex that went on to affect my social relationships for a long time.
Parents and senior professionals would tell me to figure out my life by 30 because there is a "right" time to do things. I started looking for "my purpose" in life and that made me even more miserable.
And then I read
@neuranne's book - Tiny Experiments. Someone who has a non-linear career and share their story was refreshing and reaffirming for me that non-linear careers are okay.
It was also the reason why I started Just Build It with
@sonakshinathak. We both made career transitions and the core value is to help people dream, build and ship. And find belonging through shared struggle.
Yesterday, I had the chance to meet the person who had such a profound impact in my life.
Thank you Anne-Laure! 🫶
