recently, a lot of people have been asking me what syde (systems design engineering) is and i’m pretty sure it’s like a running joke in our program that no one really knows. so here is the google definition: syde is an interdisciplinary course of study that focuses on creating user-centric solutions to complex problems by combining mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles with systems theory. graduates can work in a wide range of fields, including software development, product management, and design.  here’s a circuit on falstad we had to design
