Functions are probably the closest thing to an hammer in programming. The closest a framework get to be “just” function, the more likely it will allows devs to see everything like a nail. Few examples: React, Lambda/FAAS/Alchemy

Imagine being able to sell subscription without requiring you to have a bank account, setup a merchant account, setup your subscriptions, setup a website to sell them... just create and share a link! Thats it :)

Went though a nice little refactor yesterday - replaced 2 polling schedulers (worker based) with a single DO, leveraging their alarm system and guarantees. Durable Objects alarms are extremely powerful
