We ought to impose sanctions on the officials in Nigeria who are complicit in these atrocities. My legislation, the Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act, will do that.
In a choice between reducing benefits to current pensioners (eg by ending the triple lock) & hitting those attempting to save their own money for pensions tomorrow, Labour has chosen the latter.
🚨 NEW: Rachel Reeves will use the Budget to impose a £2k-a-year limit on how much salary can go into a pension before paying National Insurance The move will raise £2bn and hit salary sacrifice schemes [@thetimes]

Buhari was the greatest calamity to ever befall Nigeria. He destroyed the past, the present and the future. He's a destroyer of worlds.
Wallahi, the late President Muhammadu Buhari was a better leader, more intellectual and charismatic at the same time than the so called master strategist. Even Kwankwaso, as president, would do better. Nigerians (Arewa) were brainwashed, especially with money and religion card, and now everyone is paying the price.

It is by design that they keep people poor, so they can get them these things to grab power, these people (political elites) are no longer accountable to anyone because they paid to get these votes in the first place

1. Strategic inclusion of Feb 2020 protest photos for signalling. 2. He had a direct line to Buhari - explains a lot. Still thinks highly of Buhari smh. 3. Seemingly has no direct line to Tinubu, hence this public advice. Has Madam Tinubu left the fold? Or maybe just more signalling. 4. Very different tone from stance during GEJ which was more critical rather than advisory. 5. Still not beating the allegations.
I love how pastor Adeboye responded. He gave a solid advise to the president on what to do and further went ahead to tell him truth. He said the people around the president do not like him, which I find as the truth. You don’t deny what is on ground, you work on solving it.
I don't understand.....
BREAKING: Nigerian Military Bans Officers From Marrying Foreigners And Naturalised Citizens The Nigerian Armed Forces have enforced a new directive prohibiting officers from marrying foreigners or naturalised Nigerians. The rule, contained in the Harmonised Terms and Conditions of Service (HTACOS) 2024, also forbids commissioned officers from marrying non-commissioned personnel like soldiers, ratings, or airwomen.

If Rachel Reeves really is planning to cap salary sacrifice relief, it's another reckless hit on business and jobs. Hurting those doing the responsible thing and saving for their retirement at the same time as loading up yet further costs on struggling businesses.

He said the truth, all your ally’s will stand with America when the time comes. Don’t be stupid to think China will ignore the US of A for you. You don’t have the cards

What have witnessed over the past thirty years, is the unraveling of the "Post-Civil War Settlement". 1. The Niger Delta refusing to be a bystander, as its oil wealth was used to sustain the rest of the nation. They demanded, and obtained, a greater share of oil wealth - and political power. 2. The unravelling of the "One North" consensus, and Ahmadu Bello's legacy. Fault lines emerged a long time ago, but the Political Sharia Movement further widened the cracks between the "Core North" and the "Middle Belt". The insecurity crisis is doing more damage to this relationship. 3. The Post-Civil War Consensus, was built on the unquestioned monopoly of organised violence of the Nigerian State - but this has been challenged, in a variety of ways, by a variety of actors, since the return of democratic rule. 4. Then there's the prospect of malign foreign actors, actively and openly interfering in Nigeria's internal affairs.

Whoever wants to rear cattle should be made to buy land, fence it, and pay a fine if their livestock escapes and causes damage. They should also be prepared to grow or buy the feed their animals need, as with any other livestock business.
These people want to invite curses on themselves....
