Our community is brilliant. Thanks to @HuskyHacksMK and others for confirming just how sensitive Defender et al have become. Hopefully we can find a way to avoid this syscall so our binaries don’t get flagged on Windows.
A kind person is matching any donations up to $500 in the next 48 hours to Nim. Perfect opportunity to help accelerate Nim development!

Can confirm we compile to C. Greatest advantage: very easy C/C++ FFI. We can also easily target ObjC which allows us to target iOS.
Greatest trade off? The frustration Nim devs feel when people say the word “transpiles” :)
Big 👏 to all the amazing people putting together a presentation for this year's #NimConf. Thank you to everyone that joined us and a special thanks to Miran for organising!
