Some said last year that Constantine was slow on Macs. So I bought one for Christmas and learned ARM64 assembly last weekend. Constantine now ships with a ARM64 compile-time assembler in @nim_lang macros.

First prototype works! The "shader" is transformed into an iterator closure which can be ran and resumed in a group faking parallel execution. The real shader on the right performs the exact same task and the results are the same, plus there're nice debug messages. #nimlang

There are languages like Mojo & Nim that look promising to what you're talking about BUT I would suggest anyone launching a new language needs to have a huge library of examples so that coding LLMs (GPT, Claude Anthropic etc.) can build momentum from Day 1 from a huge user base
