Someone said YouTube doesn't give a damn about small creators. But the truth is — YouTube doesn't give a damn about anyone.
Hello, my name is Sippy and I’m the owner of the YouTube channel SippyRBX, with over 180,000 subscribers. On September 14th, my channel was suddenly terminated with no prior warnings or strikes. I’ve contacted Creator Support multiple times, but the responses have been vague and haven’t explained what specific policy I violated. Recently, YouTube themselves admitted that their AI systems have been falsely flagging creators for spam and deceptive policies. I strongly believe my channel was also falsely flagged My content focused entirely on original Roblox Shorts, made with effort and creativity and each video took minimum 1 hour and 30 minutes. I have never engaged in spam, scams, or deceptive content of any kind. I respectfully request a manual review of my channel. I’ve spent hundreds of hours building my community and making every video entertaining. Losing it all without a clear reason has been the worst feeling. Please help me, @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators 🙏 #YouTube #YouTubeSupport #Roblox

My YouTube channel was terminated for "spam and scams," and I'm now completely banned from the platform. I created original true-crime investigation videos, just like others in my niche. I had over 97,000 subscribers. Appeals rejected. This has to be a mistake. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators

YouTube's future: AI moderates content, AI creates content, AI watches content. The perfect closed loop where humans are no longer needed

God, when will this end? 😢
So I got terminated because AI has gone wild. Getting @TeamYouTube’s attention feels like talking into an empty desert... tumbleweeds and all. Appeals? Instant rejection. Replies? Automated. Interaction? Botted. DMs? Ignored. I just want a real human to review my channel

My God, when are you going to fix this?
Couldn't have said it better
Remember: you're not just deleting channels — you could be erasing lives. @TeamYouTube, @YouTube , @YouTubeBrasil are we criminals? This question haunts thousands of small creators banned for “spam” or “deceptive content,” with entire channels deleted for “evasion.” But where is the transparency? What exactly did we do? You’re not just deleting channels — you might be erasing hope. Many creators are fighting depression and anxiety. I’ve been fighting it myself since the start of the year. For us, creating content was more than a hobby — it was a refuge, a way to stay alive. And I’m not alone. My friends @OptSZN and @niallniallyt , who also create Roblox content, went through the same painful experience — their channels were banned too, without a clear explanation. Now, we’re left with the weight of being labeled as “failures” and “criminals.” We are human. We make mistakes — but show us where. Small creators live under immense pressure: create, post, stay consistent… or the algorithm buries us, and we start over again. And what about the double standards? How many inappropriate videos from large channels stay up despite countless reports? How many casino livestreams exploit vulnerable people while educational, gaming, and personal vlog channels get deleted without a chance to defend themselves? Our request is simple: Be transparent. Show us the mistakes. Let humans review before permanent deletion. “Community health” must also include the creators who build it every day. We are thousands. We are human. We can make mistakes — but we are not criminals. Remember: you're not just deleting channels — you could be erasing lives. #SaveSmallCreators #YouTubeInMourning #WeAreNotCriminals

When will they finally fix this? And the terrifying part is — working on YouTube now feels unsafe. What if everything gets unfairly wiped out again in a single moment? They seriously need to rethink their whole approach. Creating for YouTube is one of the most demanding and costly jobs out there.
After 40 days of being ignored and treated in very strange ways by YouTube support. They finally reinstated my channel (Althought it remains to be seen if it will stay that way) These creators (and many others) made a lot of noise to get YouTube to take notice of this issue. Thank you! @endermanch @oldmoneyluxury @DanielTChirwa @calebgoesviral @smileysmilik @niallniallyt (who still hasn’t been reinstated) @netflixnchilly_ @deephumour

Dear @TeamYouTube, I dedicated three years of my life to building my YouTube channel — and it was finally gaining traction (97K subs, 20M views). Then, in a single moment (13/10/2025), it was terminated. No warnings. No strikes. Nothing. Appeals were rejected. What’s more, I am now completely banned from using YouTube. I’ve been erased as a creator — as if I never existed. I’d like to briefly clarify the key points I believe may not have been fully considered: 1. No Circumvention Activity: The second terminated channel (UCx19SlhlEvtcKZknSwScnPw) hosted only translations of my own videos. The last upload was over a year ago, and the channel was fully private for more than six months before termination. No activity occurred on it after the main channel was removed — it could not have been used to circumvent enforcement. 2. Channel Status Inconsistency: My third related channel (UC-tc6Jx3lCP3YnkSD454u_A) remains active. This may indicate a system-level misclassification rather than intentional evasion. 3. Main Channel Content (UCFPqdfxMNRiZcsBd-37TMhg): Contained only original, self-produced content. I have never used automation, third-party reposts, or misleading tactics. After carefully reviewing YouTube’s spam and deception policies, I am confident that my content does not violate any of the listed categories (e.g., spam, scams, misleading metadata, incentivization). All my content is original, created in good faith, with no strikes or policy violations. I’ve never used automation or deception. I’m a verified Linguana partner, as evidence of my good-faith intent and commitment to YouTube’s guidelines. I respectfully request that this case be reviewed once more with the full context above. I humbly appeal for my channel to be reinstated. Thank you. Sincerely, Kirill

"I don't seem to be the only person" is putting it mildly. There are tens of thousands of us🙃
@TeamYouTube What did I do? I don't seem to be the only person that has been banned over this, but I genuinely have no idea why my content was deemed to be this Right when I got back into uploading videos a week and gained over 11k subs, I get hit with this

Yes. The most terrifying part is that they don't just delete your channel — they erase you from YouTube. You're simply banned from using the platform altogether.
For 8 months I’ve been trying to get an actual human at YouTube to look at my case — no luck. The crazy part? All I want to do is post gardening videos. I’m not asking for ANY channel back… just the right to create again. One 🤖 AI mistake wiped me off the platform, so I had to start fresh on IG/TikTok — luckily that’s grown to 38K followers and 100M+ views. All of that could have been on YouTube! Here’s what actually happened 👇 @TeamYouTube #youtube

100%. Same story here. We're all in this together until @TeamYouTube fixes this broken system

Golden words. I support this 100%. Working on YouTube becomes terrifying when you can't trust the platform — everything you've built for years can be wiped out in a second, with no real recourse. Please react and share so that someone, somewhere at YouTube, finally sees this problem. #YoutubeTermination
Days ago, my channel was terminated. I’ve poured years of time, resources and work into making content that aligns with YouTube’s TOS. I have managed to avoid strikes by creating content in an honest way. I did review YouTube’s Spam Policy, I feel confident in stating that, my content does not fall under any of the listed violations. However, if creators make a genuine mistake after years of not being an issue and contributing to the platform without issue, they should have the opportunity to fix that issue, be made away or receive a strike, not be immediately terminated with little to no human interaction nor attention. I’ve always produced content in the most ethical ways I knew how. I did this because I care for my audience, not just to meet TOS. This is my former channel link piped.video/channel/UCkI0w8w… I strongly believe this termination was an automated error. I believe you will find I did not violate YouTube’s Policies. I have never wanted to harm this platform and genuinely care for my viewers. I am not a scammer nor looking to do harm to anyone or be deceitful in my practices. Thank you for your time. I just ask that you consider supporting creators to who contribute genuinely to the YouTube community to be allowed to correct errors or mistakes prior to terminating their years of work. Thousands of creators are being falsely and wrongfully terminated, many of whom depend on their content financially to feed their families. Please, do the right thing for those individuals who have contributed to your platform. Reinstate not just my channel but all of our channels, who were wrongfully terminated via this or other automated issues. Give us an avenue for human interaction when we have issues with your system. Correct the system when it doesn’t work for the creators that are producing content for your platform. Please, make YouTube human again. Sincerely, Haley

This is the core of the problem. Even when a 'human' reviews the appeal, they just rubber-stamp the AI's initial decision. There's no real chance until the AI itself changes its mind. I've read the same stories on Reddit — people waiting for months in despair, then trying again one day and having their channel reinstated in minutes. The system is completely broken. #YoutubeTermination
YouTube is openly lying about manual review of appeals. In many cases, appeals are being rejected instantly, showing that YouTube uses AI to manage appeals and that there is no manual review.

Dear YouTube Legal & Policy Review Team, @TeamYouTube My channel (97K subs, 20M views, UCFPqdfxMNRiZcsBd-37TMhg) was removed for “Spam, Deceptive Practices, or Misleading Content”. After carefully reviewing YouTube’s Spam Policy, I can confirm that my content does not fall under any of the listed violations. My videos are 100% original productions, each requiring several hours of research, scripting, and editing. I have never posted repetitive, untargeted, or misleading content, nor have I directed viewers off-platform, used deceptive metadata, or participated in any “get-rich-quick,” “Sub4Sub,” or incentivized engagement schemes. Specifically, my channel violates none of the following prohibited categories: ✅Video Spam: I never post repetitive or untargeted videos and never redirect viewers off YouTube. ✅Misleading Metadata or Thumbnails: All titles, thumbnails, and descriptions accurately represent the content. ✅Scams / Incentivization Spam: No monetary promises, pyramid structures, or artificial engagement of any kind. ✅Comment or Live Stream Spam: No repetitive comments, no third-party content, and no external link misuse. My channel’s sole purpose has been to provide high-quality, original content, produced entirely by me and aligned with YouTube’s mission to promote creativity and authenticity. I respectfully request you restore my channel., as I believe this enforcement was likely an automated error. I am happy to provide any additional information or documentation needed to verify the legitimacy of my content. Thank you for your time, fairness, and for supporting creators who contribute genuinely to the YouTube community.

Do we really have to make a video about every single terminated creator? @TeamYouTube, aren't you tired yet? #YouTubeTermination
We made it to the news! This is very bad for YouTube as a company, they really have to publish a statement around this - if not, understand they don't really value us at all.
