Former CIA Director John Brennan is getting grilled at a public event over his 2020 letter.
The one signed by 51 ex-intel officials calling the Hunter Biden laptop story “classic Russian info ops.”
Holding a water bottle and jabbing his finger, Brennan insisted the letter only warned of possible Russian tactics, not that the laptop was fake.
A technicality critics call convenient.
Trump’s 2025 executive order on election interference has now triggered FBI investigations into Brennan, Comey, and others, with reports that five active CIA contractors helped shape the pre-election narrative.

Brennan, former CIA Director under Obama, was questioned about House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan’s recent criminal referral over his testimony about the Steele dossier.
GOP lawmakers say Brennan should be indicted for making false statements to Congress about the dossier used in the Russia collusion case.
He’s now been referred to the Department of Justice as investigators examine actions by former Obama officials tied to the intelligence community’s handling of the report.
