Last week in a community in St E a old man who said he was the Don and all aid should go through him put up a small barricade across the road when we were exiting. Mind you this is after he himself got packages and hot meal. I ran right through it with the Raptor swiftly.

I see people suggesting Christmas should be "cancelled" because of how things are out West. I actually think we need to share the Christmas spirit with them.
Cook the Christmas meals and carry to them. Gift wrap gifts and send to your fam that side especially the kids.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but life would be so much easier if I had a husband. Hurricane prep, taking out the garbage, dealing with contractors, car stuff, paying for half of the expenses, increased NHT benefits, lifting heavy things, running errands with me… EVERYTHING.
St Ann and Mobay from the main doesn’t look like a hurricane pass through. Poles are still down but the place a get green again likkle likkle. New palms, new leaves, people rebuilding the fishing village. It’s not by any means where it use to be but it’s such an improvement.
