⚡️ How culture flourishes in #Kharkiv despite the war - Interview with the Literary Museum of Kharkiv director, Tetiana Pylypchuk. 🔗 Read: ukraineworld.org/en/articles… The LitMuseum isn't just a place for exhibitions. It's a space that thinks, creates, and gathers a steady circle of people around it. It keeps alive the memory of Kharkiv's writers of the 1920s-30s and draws in today's authors, artists, and researchers who carry that line through the war. 🟡 You can support our work on: patreon.com/c/ukraineworld #ISAR_Ednannia, #StrongCivilSocietyUkraine, #Norad, #Sida, #AskoldDir @Isar_Ednannia

A serviceman of the 3rd International #Legion for the Defence of #Ukraine with the callsign Tsakin was a documentary film director in civilian life. Now the heavy unmanned bomber “Vampire” that circles above us is under his control. The legionnaire is preparing a very different kind of historical scenario for real events — though any footage shot by the drone’s camera will undoubtedly be documentary. The man loves his children and fights for a free, independent, peaceful #Ukraine for their sake. 🗨️ “My dream is to calmly make films, because I am a documentary filmmaker. But first we must liberate our land and protect our loved ones. My goal is simple — to be a man. To destroy the enemy. And to love Ukraine without shame. When you do the job, when you help the guys, when you hold a position — you aren’t ashamed to be #Ukrainian.” Read more: ildu.mil.gov.ua/news/there-a…

Among #Ukrainian weapons, the greatest success has been achieved by the #Liutyi drones, which have been used on a large scale, up to 300 units. “We understand that Ust-Luga and Primorsk are within reach. What happened is, in my opinion, a major success. According to our data, the enemy’s gasoline shortage has reached up to 20% of its demand. Estimates vary from 13% to 20%, but it is confirmed that the shortage is already significant — around 20% as of today,” #Zelenskyy said.

I’ve been to Pokrovsk. Russia targeted civilians every single day, not just here, but across Ukraine. The world might ignore this genocide, but Ukraine never will. 🇺🇦

On October 8, President Volodymyr #Zelenskyy met with journalists. Key statements: 🔸 #US President Donald #Trump did not reject Ukraine’s request for long-range #Tomahawk missiles during his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House on August 18. He said that work would continue at the technical level and that the possibility would be considered. 🔸 #Russia’s shadow fleet includes over 500 tankers used to export #Russian oil in circumvention of international sanctions. Russia also uses such vessels as platforms for launching drones. 🔸 The counteroffensive operation conducted by #Ukraine’s Defence Forces in the #Dobropillia direction since August 21 has disrupted the #Russian army’s summer offensive campaign. 🔸 Over the past month, Russian forces have carried out 1,550 strikes on the #Chernihiv, #Sumy, and #Poltava oblasts, but only 160 of them hit their targets. 🔸 Zelenskyy believes that if Russia launches another wave of mobilization, Vladimir #Putin could start a “major war” against #Europe. He once again emphasized that the Russian leader must be brought to the negotiating table. 🔸 Next week, a #Ukrainian delegation will travel to the United States to discuss air defence, energy issues, sanctions, and the negotiation track. 🔸 Zelenskyy confirmed that #Ukraine is already successfully using the #Neptune and #Flamingo missiles in tandem. 🔸 Ukraine will nominate Donald Trump for the #NobelPeacePrize if he provides an opportunity to achieve a ceasefire. 📷: X / Volodymyr Zelenskyy
