NOW — The Cabinet Office has confirmed it holds records of meetings between UK ministers and Larry Ellison, the billionaire founder of Oracle Corporation, one of the world’s largest cloud and data infrastructure firms.
But the government has delayed releasing the details, citing Section 35 of the FOI Act “formulation of government policy” and launched a public-interest test.
The request covers all meetings, calls, and correspondence between Oracle’s founder and senior UK officials since 2020.
In short, there were meetings, the details are being held back, and they concern government policy.
