Hard disagree. Personalization is not just inserting know variables about a lead. It's also connecting dots and relating an offer to that person. This can be done with AI. Strong offers and valuable personalization is an unlock.
With absolutely ZERO exaggeration at all, personalization is for people with weak offers because I’ve made strong offers convert AT SCALE without ever mentioning the prospect's dog.

If you’re not personalizing cold emails… You’re literally training Gmail to hate you. Here’s why: Every time you blast the same templates: ❌ Spam filters see the same “fingerprint” (over and over) ❌ Prospects hit “report spam” (because it’s irrelevant) ❌ Engagement tanks (and so does your domain reputation) But when you personalize: ✅ Each email looks unique to filters ✅ Prospects actually read instead of report ✅ You keep engagement high and stay inboxed Resulting in higher reply rates from better delivery. So, send emails that aren't "carbon copies". Otherwise get used to buying domains and email accounts like clockwork.

20% of my AI personalized email are...meh. The other 80% though are 🔥 Why not to worry about the 20%: AI writing gets a bad wrap, sometimes. People want to act like one bad email is applied to all. But it's not. It's fun to screenshot bad examples. Post it on social. And make an example out of someone. BUT... How many bad automated emails have you seen? (my guess is a lot) But just because there's hallucinations doesn't mean it's cooked. Yes, some AI outreach is better than others. Just like some automated is better. But AI is still better than a human at scale. Humans can't produce volume or consistency. So, it's still much better than the alternative!

This makes ZERO logical sense. Volume is the #1 KILLER of deliverability. More bounces and more spam reports. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to understand this.

w/o context of how much somebody was sending before this is actually horrible advice. Sending to few emails is way worse for deliverability vs sending too much.
