Also, China successfully threatened to enforce international sanctions taking a leaf from the USA habit of imposing its laws on everybody. It was the first time, this is a shattered taboo.

China was built up by American politicians, their trade agreements and offshore production. Profitable for a short period of time for US companies, it created a communist monster to devour us. Shockingly, the word “communist” did not stop anybody then.

Imagine if not a single country stood up to the US on Llberation day tariffs. India, self acclaimed power was among the first kiss Trump's ass and got hit with 50%. The rest just meekly submit. China played game of chickens and got TACO for lunch.
