🟢 In June, ADL chief Jonathan Greenblatt attacked Mamdani for refusing to meet with the “right Jews,” saying, “He doesn’t get to pick and choose which Jewish people he talks to. He needs to come to us.” Today he announced that the ADL is “launching a comprehensive citywide initiative to track and monitor policies and personnel appointments of the incoming Mamdani Administration,” framing it as necessary to keep “Jewish New Yorkers safe.”
Asked about it earlier, NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani said he had “some doubts in Jonathan’s ability to do so honestly, given that he previously said I had not visited any synagogues—only to have to correct himself.”
The ADL has faced criticism for labeling pro-Palestinian speech and campus demonstrations as “antisemitic,” and for its blind support of Israel as it carried out a live-streamed genocide in Gaza.
Even @ZohranKMamdani’s transition team has people who spent their lives fighting for all people.
Well before @linamkhan’s enormous FTC work to protect us from Bezos and Zuckerberg preying on us, Lina’s time in academia was helping save families from banks taking our homes.

In fact, AIPAC’s hold on my Congressmember @Grace4NY is so strong that not only is she on the bill sponsored by the guy who she admonished for his response to Asian murders, but also the guy who backed Jan 6th which put her life in danger as she hid with her staff behind a barricaded door.
