the fact that @perplexity_ai HAS TO PAY PEOPLE IN THIS ECONOMY to attract/notice and use their product @comet, a browser, feels off. like if you have such good features/systems, privacy measures, ui/ux, why do you need to pay regular people to use your product? promoting via influencers and paying them is different. in this, something is not being done right. either marketing, data handling or smth else. i personally do not at all feel this is a sustainable measure. hope they can pull this off, cuz smth is better than nothing. i genuinely wanna know stuff about them. how and why.
