Trump on SNAP: Our country has to remain very liquid because problems, catastrophes, wars, it could be anything. We can't give everything away. (He just gave Argentina $40 billion)

SNAP has existed for 60 years. Benefits have gone out every single month over those six decades, including during government shutdowns. Until now. Make no mistake: The money is available to fund SNAP during this shutdown. Trump is making a choice to withhold it. Don’t forget this.

Elon Musk’s new pay package would feed all forty million Americans on SNAP for the next ten years. He wouldn’t notice the difference but the country would.

🚨BREAKING: DHS caught lying…again. A federal judge confirmed that Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino admitted to lying about being hit by a rock before deploying tear gas on Chicagoans in Little Village last month. Judge Ellis slammed the government’s narrative: “The government would have people believe… that the Chicagoland area is in a vice hold of violence, ransacked by rioters and attacked by agitators… That simply is untrue. And the government’s own evidence in this case belies that assertion.” Bodycam footage reveals agents mocking the crowd as tear gas was unleashed. One agent laughed, saying twice, “Have fun!” while fleeing, then shouted, “Throw another one,” prepping a second canister. Another agent reportedly told a colleague, “Hey, throw it (tear gas) for fun,” according to plaintiff attorneys. The footage paints a disturbing picture of deliberate aggression… not defense.

TurboTax makers Intuit have lobbied the government for years to block free public tax-filing. Now Trump has terminated the free IRS Direct File program, nearly a year after Intuit gave his inauguration $1M. Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

Intuit, parent company of TurboTax, donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration. Always follow the money.
The Trump administration has killed IRS Direct File, the program that let you file your taxes for free. Direct File will not be operational this coming tax season.

You think you can reform this shit? It all has to be abolished and rebuilt from scratch. ICE, Border Patrol, DHS, all of it.
A Border Patrol agent was caught on video telling another to throw tear gas “for fun,” according to a court filing. They also mocked protesters and residents who were getting gassed.

Amarillo is one of the reddest towns in Texas. But I showed up because our campaign is not writing off any community. It was standing room only.

If you are willing to defy court orders to starve 42 million Americans, you have lost your humanity. Trump needs to follow the law and fully fund SNAP benefits.

They’re not “donations.” They’re bribes. Donald Trump took millions in bribes for political favors. Everyone understands this, and yet he’s still allowed to use the most powerful position on the planet to run his grift, and the best Republicans can do is say “I didn’t see it.”

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps. McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay. Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay. See the problem?

“They came into the building understanding it was a daycare. They did not have a warrant. It is a violation of our rights. It is a violation of these children’s rights. They are terrorizing our community.” Trump’s ICE goons raided a damn daycare.

After a judge ordered Donald Trump to make SNAP payments, the wannabe king declared he will defy a court order and won't help people afford groceries. Trump's message to 42 million Americans: eat dirt.

Sen. Rosen: "This is a Republican shutdown...You are in control of the White House, the House, and the Senate. If you went home to a food bank instead of going to Mar-A-Lago...while people are starving, you might see and hear your constituents. You are blind to the suffering."

Mamdani: "My message to ICE agents & to everyone across this city is that everyone will be held to the same standard of the law. If you violate the law, you must be held accountable. There is sadly a sense that is growing across this country that certain people are allowed to violate that law, whether they be the president or whether they be the agents themselves. And what New Yorkers are looking for is an era of consistency, an era of clarity, an era of conviction."

President Trump sent lawyers to court begging and pleading to let them rip away SNAP from 41 million hungry Americans. They lost big-time. Democrats will keep fighting to make sure the GOP’s Marie Antoinettes and Make Gatsby Great Again billionaires fail in their effort to bulldoze the nutrition and health of the people.

Trump’s own Solicitor General just admitted Americans pay 30–80% of his tariffs. So no, China’s not footing the bill, you are. The “Art of the Deal” was just robbing Americans at the checkout aisle.

It's time for Republicans to come to the table and work with us to lower the cost of health care. If we don't extend ACA tax credits, a lot of Arizonans are going to have to have to make sacrifices in order to pay for this kind of increase.
