As the United States commits to providing $14.3 billion in military aid to Israel, I can't help but think of the urgent challenges that Americans face every day. Millions of citizens are struggling with economic insecurity, lacking access to affordable healthcare, grappling with overwhelming student debt, and facing a housing crisis that leaves some homeless. It is imperative to question whether these substantial funds could be better invested in addressing these critical needs within our own country. Furthermore, it is hard to overlook the implications of this aid in the context of a conflict often described as asymmetrical, where human rights concerns are constantly raised. Providing such military support without a thorough examination of its potential impact on the affected populations raises significant moral questions. It is time for deep reflection on our priorities as a nation. This involves balancing our responsibilities towards our citizens with our international commitments, and ensuring that our actions abroad do not reflect an indifference to suffering, both far from our shores and under our very eyes.

Rapper ‘Macklemore’ shows his support for Palestine. “We have been taught to just be complicit, to protect our careers, to protect our interests, and I’m not gonna do it anymore, I’m not afraid to speak the truth!”

Gift $14.3 billion to Israel to perpetrate genocide but in return they only commit $0.1 billion for aid to Gaza

More importantly, Gazans can’t have clean water, reliable electricity, and bomb shelters, but HAMAS can have a gigantic network of underground tunnels and resources to wage war, paid for by the international community.

Doesn’t seem like a place were genocide is being committed…
Gaza this evening near the Shifa hospital. Public screening of video clips showing Hamas terrorists attacking IDF forces in northern Gaza. I don’t see any electricity shortage. Everybody’s with their cellphones, cheering to the clips.

If the money given by the US to finance wars was invested in the US, it would have eliminated so many issues

If the United States returns them from Palestine and settles them there, it will save its people billions and also avoid entering into wars.

They also have better healthcare and way cheaper college, not to undermine genocide.

A question: Pearl Harbour 2403 people died & that ultimately culminated in dropping 2 atomic bombs which stopped WW2 which killed almost 200k people in Japan was that a justifiable use of force?

America is a strange place. They could provide those things and even more. They just choose not to. As if these wars are going to create security for the US in the long-term.
