did a lil experiment cleaning up X following from 1700 to 250. also is much more enjoyable now. ate lots of fish. got gpuup.sh to one shot my cuda installation after reset. locked in remotely w/ fr8 alumni on discord. somehow hit 25k?? very deep work w/ gemini 2.5 pro and gpt 5 pro at the planning/contemplation level for some new stuff. compiled 2000 llm generated kernels for kernelbench-v3 (WIP). did a live stream. ended up rewriting the same project from scratch 3 times and learned so much in the process. i think this should be requirement if you're building from scratch. if you aren't rewriting, your slop tolerance is too high. playing w/ cursor 2.0 and i gotta say i feel more comfy here than codex-rs in the terminal. made the first PR to extropic's one and only repo demanding they use uv. hopefully they accept. lots of eval development. this is way harder than i expected it to be since llms are quite skilled at screwing everything up when you test them on out of distributed code performance problems. lots of prompt editting and exception handling! think of a number between 1 and 100..... 37 gotcha! had to cut this one off at 37 hrs as i need to just check out for a nap (as im writing this)
