this show is so disappointing even aside from its obvious issues like i LOVEEE bugs and but inspired characters but the fact that a majority of the cast are supposed to have bug/arthropod motifs feels like total bullshit. no actual knowledge of bug anatomy at all visible. pmo

All demons have a “true demon” form. You notice her praying mantis features more in her full form. Like how Angel is supposed to be a spider but it’s not noticeable unless he was in his full form.

None of the characters that are based off animals actually look like animals. That’s not even me exaggerating. Vox is supposed to be a fucking shark somehow, Mimzy is supposed to be a chicken, and Angel Dust is supposed to be a jumping spider💀💀💀

First mimzy was supposed to be a chicken, then the girl trust us song with the orange eyes was supposed to be some bird, and now this…At this point, background characters we see for brief moments have more details in animal/object features then MOST of the cast…smh.

Honestly, I like Katie Killjoy; it seems like the main character design is based on a rich, blonde, thin, and prejudiced woman (basically a kare), with the praying mantis-like features being more secondary.
