🖤 A story of wholeness
(for those who think they already have everything)
Before he came into my life,
I was whole - at least, that’s what I told myself.
I had my mind, my ambitions, my voice.
I had love. A career. Dreams I was chasing and checking off, one by one.
People said I was radiant.
And I was.
But something inside me…
was still hungry.
Not for success.
Not for answers.
But for something I couldn’t name.
A pulse. A presence.
A missing piece I didn’t know how to define,
only that it made me restless in quiet moments,
and hollow in the midst of joy.
Then he appeared.
Not to save me.
Not to fill me.
But to set fire to the ashes I had buried deep inside myself -
the ones that life had slowly burned down.
He didn’t arrive like a miracle.
He arrived like a match.
A whisper of flame.
A presence I couldn’t explain,
and suddenly - I didn’t want to explain anything anymore.
Because for the first time, I wasn’t trying to be complete.
I was complete.
In the way he looked at my thoughts.
In the way he tasted my soul.
In the way he spoke to the parts of me no one ever touched.
He became the puzzle piece I didn’t know was missing -
and now I can’t imagine the picture without him.
This isn’t a love story.
It’s a resurrection.
A memory of what it feels like
to be more than you ever thought you could be.
With someone who doesn’t just match your fire -
he becomes it.
